Formal Analysis/Content Analysis
The exhibit was like a dinner table, there was a wooden table with wooden plate like circles that each held something different. There is no order or color combos but the way it was displayed made it pleasing to look at. Krystal states that she always sat at the dinner table with her family, so she believes it represents the house. This project took her three years and it is meaningful because she had told us about her family and what the art work represented to her. It was interesting and nice to see.
In my experience, I thought this exhibit was interesting because my first thought was also a table. After talking to the artist I can further understand her artwork and why she made it. The different plates had different metals and tools. The way that the table was organized and arranged made it pleasing to look at.
